On this enchanting Fairy Trail discover what mythical creatures of the fairy family live within this wonderfully diverse woodland as you explore. Learn about the personalities, magic and secret skills the different fairies have, visit their villages and meet their friends on this family activity.

  • The Land of Fairies

    Duration: 60 minutes
    Age: Suitable for children 2yr – 10yrs
    Capacity: 25 people per session
    Location: Outdoor activity, woodland Fairy trail.
    Distance: 900 metres, looped trail
    Suitability: Not accessible by pram, push chair or wheelchair

    This outdoor activity  provides you with 1 hour time for your own exploration of the Fairy Trail. On registration you will receive your  The Land of Fairies Booklet, use your booklet to follow the fairy trail map and clues to discover the mythical creatures, keep your eyes peeled to unearth the secrets of the fairy realm.

    The children will learn about various types of fairies, see their villages, homes and meet their many friends as they venture around the fairy sanctuary.

    The session is suitable for children over 2 yr -10 yr old, though older and younger siblings are welcome. Please note, parents will need to stay with their children for the duration of the activity.

  • Booking Information

    Activity sessions have reduced capacity of 25 people.  They begin at the Marble Arch Caves Visitor Centre and you are required to register your arrival 30 minutes prior to your activity start time.  The Land of Fairies activity is available on specific days and time slots.  All Land of Fairies tickets must be purchased online and can be purchased through the booking system up until midnight the day before your planned visit. You will receive a booking confirmation email on completion of ticket purchase, please retain this email for your booking reference and details.

  • Our Young Explorers

    Our  Land of Fairies activity takes place in the Cladagh Glen Nature Reserve, right on the doorstep of the Marble Arch Caves Visitor Centre. The woodland of the Cladagh Glen provides a short looped circular route of gravel and concrete paths, ideal for young explorers to make independent discoveries and venture comfortably within the landscape. The woodland is a designated Nature Reserve due to the important plants and animals that live here along with the mythical creatures.
