  Explore Fermanagh’s unique stories within the picturesque setting of Enniskillen Castle beside the River Erne, situated in Ireland’s only island town, at the gateway to the Fermanagh Lakelands.

  Discover diverse histories within the castle walls from Medieval Stronghold, Plantation Castle, Garrison Fort and Military Barracks.

  Explore this underworld world as you trace the journey of the Owenbrean River and discover its energy as the waters gurgle and splash venturing deeper into the black abyss.

  Enlighten your senses as you smell, hear and feel this active living cave around you! This exciting tour follows the Yorkshire Ramblers exploratory route of 1935 past hidden tunnels, still pools, delicate formations and stunning reflections.

  • Follow in the footsteps of the 1935 Yorkshire Ramblers’ exploration
  • Marvel at delicate rock formations, still pools, and hidden tunnels
  • Learn about the cave’s geological history, shaped over hundreds of thousands of years

  Path Type: Combination of concrete paths, boardwalks, and steps

  Note: This ticket includes entry to Marble Arch Caves & Enniskillen Castle (Open ticket included) and a Tea/Coffee and scone at the Castle Café (not transferable for the Marble Arch Caves Café).

  • This ticket grants access to both the Marble Arch Caves Guided Cave Tour and Enniskillen Castle Tour (Open Ticket Included).
  • When you purchase the Combo ticket, it includes two attractions, tickets are open tickets for the 2025 season.
  • On purchasing this combo ticket you will be prompted to book your guided cave tour ticket online. Your Enniskillen Castle open ticket is included in your booking and you can arrange this tour by contacting Enniskillen Castle on 028 6632 5000 and quoting your booking reference number.

   

  Accessibility

  • Suitable for families.
  • Enniskillen Castle is access for all however the Guided Cave Tour is not accessible for wheelchair users. The Marble Arch Caves offer a Virtual Reality Cave Explorer Experience which is access for all.

   

  Note: An all-weather, all-terrain, self-propelled wheelchair is available to book for the use of visitors to Enniskillen Castle. The sturdy and lightweight wheelchair is suitable for both indoors in our displays as well as outside in the Castle Courtyard. The wheelchair has been purchased with support from the Northern Ireland Museums Council and Department for Communities.

• Travelling Between Attractions

  The Marble Arch Caves are located 12-15 miles (30 minutes) from Enniskillen Castle. Enniskillen Castle is located in Enniskillen Town and easiest approach is from the Sligo Road coming into the town ( Click Here).

  Both the car park at Marble Arch Caves and Enniskillen Castle offer free parking. Additionally, Marble Arch Caves provides an EV charging point.
