Planning An Educational Visit

The unique landscapes surrounding the Marble Arch Caves make it the perfect location for many types of outdoor learning and outreach programmes at all levels of education.

Located in the glaciated foothills of Cuilcagh Mountain (Special Area of Conservation) and surrounded by the karst landscapes of the Marlbank Region (Area of Special Scientific Interest) there is so much opportunity on its’ doorstep. The National Nature Reserves Cladagh Glen and Killykeegan which are part of the wider Marlbank National Nature Reserves offer opportunities to visit karst landscapes and natural woodland environments. In addition the Marble Arch Cave (Area of Special Scientific Interest) provides a unique opportunity to explore and learn about this natural underground environment.

The Marble Arch Caves are a leading centre offering guidance and support for students undertaking fieldwork activities and we provide knowledgeable Educational Guides  and necessary equipment along with access to the show cave, woodlands, karst landscapes and glacial features.
