We were thrilled to welcome Irish celebrity chef and television personality Neven Maguire, along with his film crew, to the Marble Arch Caves as part of his exciting new series, Neven’s Ulster Food Tour. With Neven’s award-winning MacNean House and Restaurant, located just 6 miles from the Marble Arch Caves, it was the perfect starting point for his culinary journey across Ulster.
Neven, guided by our Lead Guide Jordan, enjoyed an exclusive tour of the show cave, where he was captivated by the beauty and history of our underground landscape. He particularly enjoyed some of our more creatively named formations, like the “Porridge Pot” and “Streaky Bacon,” which brought a smile to his face and added a bit of humor to the tour.
It was an absolute pleasure to host Neven and his team. While there was plenty of work involved, the atmosphere was light-hearted and fun, making for an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Our Development Officer, Michelle Shannon, was delighted to welcome Neven and collaborate on this wonderful opportunity to showcase the Marble Arch Caves. We had a fantastic evening, and we can’t wait to see the caves featured in Neven’s Ulster Food Tour.
