Christmas Wreath Making
Have you ever saw a beautiful Christmas Wreath and wished you could have a go at making one yourself? This year we invite visitors to come along and get into the Christmas Spirit as we are joined by Ranger Kate and Assistant Operations Officer Claire who are running a special wreath making activity.
First you will set of on a short Christmas walk through Cladagh Glen Nature Reserve where you will learn about the history of the woodland and the wonderful variety of plants and trees which live there. Upon returning to the warmth of the Marble Arch Caves Visitor Centre you will be guided to a station where you will find the sustainably-sourced materials required to make your very own native wreath. Other Christmas decoration options are available.
Our crafty colleague Claire will also be on hand to provide some useful tips and advice to help you transform the raw materials into a stunning Christmas display. Bring anything dear to you which you would like to incorporate into your work, such as ribbons, beads, lights, silk flowers etc.
A warm drink (tea/coffee) will be provided.
We hope to see you there!
Don’t forget, we also have other Christmas events happening through December such as our Christmas Elf Escape Takeover. Why not come for the day and enjoy some Christmas shopping, relax in our café with some homemade treats and get into the Christmas spirit!
