Join our Events Guide Ian Sturdee a self-taught nature guide with over 10 years’ experience in the field. Ian will take you on an inspirational walk, showcasing the abundance of unique plants that grow in this ancient woodland. Hear interesting stories on how the plants flourish in their surrounding karst landscape and learn about the plants herbal uses in the past.
Summer is an amazing time to visit this woodland as it springs alive in shades of greens, yellows, and whites. Hear the woodland come alive as the native wildlife busy themselves in everyday life. Ian’s love of nature is abundant, his walks inspire you to appreciate the beauty of this amazing woodland.
Information
The guided walk is appropriate for persons with no background in plants and wildlife. Be sure to bring your camera/mobile to capture some beautiful snapshots along the walk.
Location
The walk begins at Marble Arch Caves Visitor Centre. Please meet and register your arrival at the reception 15 minutes prior to the walk beginning.

This is an outdoor event, please wear comfortable outdoor footwear and bring waterproof clothing.
