CAAN at Cuilcagh – Bog Day Celebrations

CANN International Bog Day Celebration at Cuilcagh

To celebrate International Bog Day, the CANN project is hosting an interactive bog walk and talks from the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark, Golden Eagle Trust, Bug Life and the CANN Project Team at Ulster Wildlife.

Meet at the Marble Arch Caves Visitor Centre where you will hear all about the amazing birds and wonderful bugs which call Cuilcagh home, learning some handy tips and tricks to help you identify key species. Enjoy some refreshments before participating in an interactive bog walk, where you will discover the history of the bog, and learn of how hard people have worked
to protect this unique landscape. You can also put your newly acquired bird and bug identification skills into action.

All ages welcome. Numbers are strictly limited; registration of attendance is required.

The CANN Project is supported by the EU’s INTERREG VA Programme, managed by the Special European Programmes Body (SEUPB)
